http://www.curt.org -The Construction User's Roundtable (CURT) was formed in the fall of 2000 by construction and engineering executives representing major corporations from across the United States. CURT's primary goal is to enact broad, effective Owner representation and increased Owner leadership on construction industry issues.
http://www.leanconstruction.org -The Lean Construction Institute is a non-profit research company founded in 1997 to develop knowledge about the Lean production approach for construction projects. They hold that just as Lean production improved the manufacturing industry, Lean Construction provides maximum value with minimal waste.
